OPAL is a small, registered charity whose income is increasingly obtained from a diverse range of funding bodies.
In order to successfully run the wide variety of services OPAL offers we are constantly seeking out new sources of funding and we are deeply grateful to all the commissioners and grant awarding bodies that have chosen to support OPAL over the past year. Without them, we would not be able to pursue our mission of preventing loneliness and social isolation for older people living in rural West Cheshire.
Our Funders in 2023-24 include the following:
National Lottery Community Fund: for Branching Out and Digital Inclusion
NHS Commissioning Group: for Branching Out
Marshes Community Benefit Fund: for Branching Out and Digital Inclusion
Cheshire & Warrington Carers Trust: for Carers Services
Integrated Partnership Board / Care Community Group: for Digital Inclusion
CW&C: for Activity Day Clubs, Telephone Befriending, Good Neighbours, Passport to Care and Emergency Discharge Fund
Skipton BS: for Carers Services and Digital Inclusion
Cheshire Community Fund: for Carers Services
Lottery Awards 4 All: for Carers Services
Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Fund: for Digital Services
W G Edwards: for Digital Inclusion
Cllr John Leather, Lord Mayor of Chester, through the Mayor’s Fund: for General Support
We’d also like to thank all the other grant awarding bodies and our very many donors, whether they be individuals or organisations, who generously give to OPAL.
